FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What are your fees?
Each counselor sets their own rate ranging from $100-$200 per 55 minute session. If an extended session is scheduled, you will be charged at the same rate, and will be prorated appropriately.
A limited number of reduced fee spots are available at the discretion of the therapist
Payments can be made with cash or credit card (including FSA/HSA)
Do you accept insurance?
We are not a contracted provider with insurance plans and therefore an out-of-network provider. This means clients will need to pay the full fee at the time of service. If you require a superbill, please discuss that with your therapist.
Interested in counseling?
You can email directly the therapist you are interested in working with from our About Us page. We offer a free 20 minute consultation. During this call we will briefly share about our approach to counseling, ask about your goals and answer any questions you may have. If you and the therapist determine it might be a good fit, they will schedule an intake appointment.
During this initial appointment, your therapist will discuss confidentiality, communication and our phase model approach. Your therapist will also conduct initial assessments of PTSD, anxiety, depression and self-esteem. This is also when your therapist will discuss a collaborative plan to address your goals. Throughout your therapy journey, your therapist will continue
All scheduled appointments need to be cancelled 24 hours in advance to avoid a late cancellation fee.
How long does therapy last?
This a question that most people are curious about, yet not something that can be answered. Everyone’s journey and goals are unique to them and growth and healing is a process. Therapy begins with assessment and discussion of your individual goals and treatment plan. Our approach is rooted phase model based work of Judith Herman.
